Fine Art, Auction & Furniture Logistics
Exceptional objects deserve exceptional care
Specialist logistics for art, furniture and collectible design – built on 30 years of experience.
BLG SEASUN brings together our specialist activities within Fine Art, Auction House Logistics and Furniture & Vintage Design under one name and one organisation.
Our roots in specialist furniture logistics go back to 1996, when SEASUN was established with a focus on the international transportation of Danish and Scandinavian furniture. Since then, we have built extensive experience in handling Danish Design, Scandinavian Design, vintage furniture, fine art and other valuable and distinctive objects for customers throughout Europe and around the world.
Today, this experience forms the foundation of BLG SEASUN's specialist logistics activities.
We work with auction houses, galleries, furniture and design dealers, collectors, interior professionals, businesses and private clients, providing tailored logistics solutions for everything from a single chair or work of art to complete collections and larger international projects.
Our long-standing involvement in the Danish and Scandinavian furniture and design market gives us a particular understanding of objects where value is defined not only by price, but also by design, craftsmanship, history, provenance and uniqueness.
One partner throughout the journey
Specialist logistics is about much more than transportation. It is about understanding the object, planning every stage of its journey and ensuring that it is handled correctly from collection to final delivery.
BLG SEASUN manages the complete logistics process, including:
Collection from auction houses, dealers, galleries, businesses and private addresses
Professional packing and custom-made packing solutions
Secure warehousing
Consolidation of purchases from multiple suppliers and auction houses
Dedicated and consolidated road transport throughout Europe
Sea and air freight worldwide
Export and shipping documentation
Customs clearance
International distribution and final delivery
With our own expertise and an established network of trusted logistics partners, we provide logistics solutions throughout Denmark, Scandinavia and the whole of Europe, as well as international transportation to destinations worldwide.
This enables us to select the right solution according to the individual object, shipment, destination, timeframe and budget – whether it is a single piece moving between two European cities or a complete collection being shipped across continents.
Fine Art
Art requires specialist handling, careful planning and attention to detail.
From paintings and sculptures to fragile, valuable and unique objects, BLG SEASUN coordinates transportation with a focus on protection, security and professional handling throughout the journey.
Our solutions can include collection, professional packing and crating, secure storage, customs formalities, dedicated or consolidated European transport, international air and sea freight and final delivery.
Whether the assignment involves a single artwork or an entire collection, each shipment is planned according to the specific characteristics and requirements of the objects being transported.
Auction House Logistics
BLG SEASUN provides a dedicated logistics link between auction houses, buyers and sellers across Europe and worldwide.
We collect purchases from auction houses, dealers and marketplaces throughout Europe, register and store individual items and can consolidate multiple purchases into one onward shipment.
This allows collectors, dealers and international buyers to purchase from different locations while having one logistics partner coordinate the entire process.
From collection and storage to packing, consolidation, documentation, customs clearance, international shipping and final delivery, our team manages the complete journey.
Furniture, Danish Design & Scandinavian Design
Furniture logistics has been part of our DNA since 1996.
We have a particular heritage within the transportation of Danish Design and Scandinavian Design and specialise in the handling of modern, vintage and collectible furniture.
From iconic Scandinavian design classics to contemporary furniture and unique vintage pieces, we understand the particular requirements involved in moving objects that may be valuable, fragile, rare or irreplaceable.
Our customers include furniture and design dealers, galleries, auction houses, collectors, interior professionals, businesses and private clients.
Our European logistics network enables us to collect and deliver furniture and design pieces throughout Denmark, Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, while our international freight solutions connect the European design market with customers around the world.
Whether transporting a single piece of Danish Design, collecting purchases from several European dealers or consolidating an entire collection for overseas shipment, BLG SEASUN provides one coordinated logistics solution from collection to final delivery.
Consolidation & Warehousing
For customers purchasing furniture, art and design from multiple sources, our warehousing and consolidation services provide a simple and efficient solution.
We can collect purchases from multiple auction houses, galleries and dealers throughout Europe, receive and register the individual items at our warehouse and consolidate them into optimised shipments for onward transportation.
This is particularly relevant for international collectors, dealers and professional buyers sourcing Danish and Scandinavian Design across Europe, allowing multiple purchases to be managed through one logistics partner.
MY.SEASUN – your logistics in one place
Our MY.SEASUN online platform gives customers an overview of their purchases and shipments throughout the logistics process.
Items purchased from dealers, auction houses and online marketplaces can be registered and managed in one place, while BLG SEASUN coordinates collection, warehousing, consolidation, packing and onward transportation.
It combines specialist, hands-on logistics with the transparency and convenience of a modern digital platform.
